Through community-based internships, volunteer roles and individualized coaching, participants gain the academic, social, and job readiness skills needed to prepare for employment in inclusive work settings.
Training at the Impact Center for Learning
Your journey begins at the Impact Center for Learning (ICL), a state-of-the-art workforce training hub dedicated to expanding employment opportunities for people of all abilities.
The ICL offers a customized, multi-step approach to workforce development that combines:

- Real-world skill development opportunities
- A newly renovated, professional learning environment

Once you’ve developed foundational workplace skills at the ICL, you’ll have the opportunity to put them into practice through community-based internships at one of CBS’s 50 employment sites.
These internship and volunteer experiences help participants:
