Fall Festival Brings Community, Connection, and Autumn Magic to Cultivating Dreams Farm

There is something special about autumn at Cultivating Dreams Farm.

There is something special about autumn at Cultivating Dreams Farm. As nature begins to paint the green leaves with shades of gold and crimson, families, friends, and community members gathered for a memorable Fall Festival filled with seasonal fun.

Guests were welcomed by the breathtaking beauty of the farm, a perfect backdrop for this day of celebration. The festival offered something for everyone, creating opportunities to enjoy the season while spending quality time together.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the day, including pumpkin bowling, face painting, and a festive scarecrow contest that inspired plenty of creativity and friendly competition. Groups delighted in selecting their own pumpkins from the farm’s pumpkin pop-up patch, taking home a special piece of the harvest season.

Of course, no fall celebration would be complete without seasonal treats. Staff and groups from day programs and CBS residences sipped cider, enjoyed fresh donuts, and gathered with friends to socialize and make new memories.

One of the highlights of the day was Brian Dallas Fields and his therapy pets, whose visit brought joy, comfort, and excitement to attendees.

Adding to the day’s unique experiences, members of the Dutchess County K-9 Unit stopped by, giving onlookers a chance to watch a demonstration by the highly trained dog and learn more about his important role in serving and protecting the community.

More than just a seasonal celebration, the Fall Festival reflected the spirit of Cultivating Dreams Farm: bringing people together, fostering meaningful connections with each other and the land.

As the day ended, guests left with pumpkins in hand and lasting memories of a beautiful autumn day spent among friends. We extend our sincere gratitude to Director of Day Programs Betty Rivadeneira and her team, as well as everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make this year’s Fall Festival such a wonderful success.

We look forward to celebrating with you again at Cultivating Dreams Farm.
