Our staff are the heartbeat of everything we do. They bring dedication, creativity, and compassion to support people in living full and meaningful lives. This year, three remarkable staff members have risen to the top as our Employees of the Year for 2026, and we are proud to celebrate them.
A Prestigious Honor, Voted by Peers
The Employee of the Year recognition is one of the most meaningful honors at CBS because it begins with a secret ballot vote by our dedicated direct support staff in our day, residential, and job programs. Their nominations shine a light on the qualities that make a true difference in our work, including:
- Impeccable Attendance – showing up with reliability and consistency.
- Creativity – bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.
- Compassion – extending genuine care to the people they support.
- Strong Work Ethic – demonstrating unwavering commitment to excellence.
DSP week culminated in a special awards celebration at Cultivating Dreams farm, where this year’s Employee of the Year nominees gathered with family members and loved ones. It was an evening filled with pride, gratitude, and heartfelt recognition. Seeing nominees celebrate alongside parents, spouses, and supporters served as a powerful reminder that behind every outstanding DSP is a story of commitment, compassion, and dedication.
