It’s true what they say — the sooner you start, the better! The season of sunshine, beach trips, and barbecues is also the perfect time for you to start exploring your child’s transition options to adulthood. Community Based Services (CBS) is here to support teens and parents throughout this crucial period. Whether your teen is just beginning or already navigating the transition, CBS is committed to fostering a smooth, stress-free journey for your family.

  1. Start by ensuring your child is approved for OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) Eligibility. This approval is essential for enrolling in transition planning services.
