Throughout DSP Week, September 13-19, 2026, we set aside time to honor the extraordinary Direct Support Professionals who are truly the heart of our mission. Every day, our DSPs empower the people we support to learn, grow, achieve their goals, build relationships, and fully engage in their communities. Their impact reaches far beyond the individuals they serve, touching families, coworkers, and the entire CBS community.
This year’s celebration was filled with opportunities for our DSPs to relax, connect, and enjoy experiences designed just for them. Staff members participated in a variety of activities throughout the week, including a scavenger hunt, karate Warrior Workout classes, ceramics, flower arranging, and photography workshops. Whether challenging themselves with a new fitness activity, expressing creativity through art, or simply enjoying time with colleagues, our DSPs embraced each experience with the same enthusiasm and positivity they bring to their work every day.
The week culminated in a special awards celebration at the farm, where this year’s Employee of the Year nominees gathered with family members and loved ones.

As DSP Week comes to a close, our gratitude remains as strong as ever. The recognition shared throughout the week is only a small reflection of the appreciation we feel every day for our Direct Support Professionals.
Thank you for your resilience during challenging moments, your kindness during difficult days, your advocacy for those who need a voice, and your unwavering belief in the people we support. Because of you, individuals with disabilities are empowered to pursue their goals, strengthen their independence, and lead meaningful lives.
To all of our DSPs: thank you for being the heart of CBS. We are grateful for you today, this week, and every day of the year. 💙
