CBS appreciates the creative and caring work of its employees. And this spring, It has implemented an agency-wide initiative backed by considerable funding to show them just how much they are valued.
While employees have spoken to the fact that CBS has always cared for its staff and acknowledges that the work can be challenging, this employee appreciation initiative certainly brought those sentiments to a whole new level.
The initiative was launched last March with a generous $150 Amazon gift card given to each and every full and part-time employee. To brighten up the gloomy April showers, staff members were gifted with umbrellas branded with Good Reasons logos. And In May, the employee appreciation gift went above and beyond, causing quite the load of excitement.
Human Resources Director Latoya Hopkins hinted at May’s employee gift in a mass-distribution email, sharing, “May is Health and Fitness month for CBS. There is nothing more important than the health and well-being of our employees. We know that many of you are looking for easy, attainable ways to enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and we are committed to helping you reach your personal goals by providing you with a gift.”
By the end of the month, the mystery gifts began arriving on the doorsteps of CBS employees. Much to their delight, they unboxed Fit Bits or Apple Watches, very lavish gifts indeed. Undoubtedly, this was quite a luxurious employee appreciation initiative.
Whether employees are part-time, full-time, direct support staff, managers, or administrators, their efforts most certainly do not go unnoticed. CBS celebrates their expertise and tireless dedication and care. CBS recognizes that its employees lay the absolutely critical foundation that propels people with disabilities towards achieving their aspirations. Through this initiative, CBS thanks and celebrates the employees for all that they do.
